Orff Schulwerk

10th May, 10-4.30, Alison House with Donna Fleetwood

FREE BUT THERE ARE LIMITED PLACES ON THIS COURSE!   Book a place by return email ASAP – when you book, please let us know if you have particular interests etc

It will be varied of course, but Donna Fleetwood has asked if anyone has specific things they are hoping for e.g. activities to get participants into the creative mode, movement, song activities, rhythmic activities… anything else? And/or are you open to any/every thing?

Facilitator Donna Fleetwood holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Greensboro College, North Carolina and a Masters Degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University where she explored the Manhattanville Music Curriculum Project approach to music education.  She received Certification in Orff Schulwerk from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia where she currently teaches Pedagogy and Movement and is Director of the Orff Schulwerk Certification Program. Donna studied with the Special Course at the Orff Institute, Salzburg, Austria in 2007.






Soiree will start with a short talk by Raymond Black* from Creative Scotland about the Youth Music Initiative and then networking, jamming and celebrating our work!

There will be nibbles and a drink or two on the EYMF too!
